Today...
No spend day until I had to pop to Home Bargains and spent about £14... need to challenge myself to some NSDs I think!
Had another £4 PA survey which is great!
Yesterday I used a voucher I had to go to a sushi class at Yo Sushi with my bf. We only paid for drinks and ended up with enough sushi for dinner and then for today's lunch too!Since 'lightbulb moment' on 9th July 2017:

My spending on things like clothes etc has improved so much since starting this diary, however I have started to slip again in to spending money on unnecessary food/drinks etc - need to stop that.
Tomorrow I'll need to do a food shop and get petrol but then I aim to have as many NSDs as possible.
Thinking that I will start my Christmas shopping for those that I know what I am buying... this will mean fewer NSDs but I will spread the Christmas costs out over 3 months rather than one.Since 'lightbulb moment' on 9th July 2017:

Today I had to buy petrol (about £50) and my food shop (around £30) - will try to keep the rest of the week to no spend days if possible.Since 'lightbulb moment' on 9th July 2017:

Today...
I have REALLY tried today to have a NSD! I know it sounds ridiculous but on the way to work and on the way home I had to really persuade myself not to stop at the shop for some Diet Coke and chocolate! TOM is coming and with it are massive sugar cravings!
However, I managed it!
Tonight I am working a bar shift - just 3.5 hours but that's plenty after a long day at school.
I have turned down loads of shifts recently and am wondering if that is the right thing to do. I initially said I would just do Monday-Friday shifts (these are rare) as it meant that I could still have my full weekends. It does mean that I am hardly getting any extra money in, but I am getting nice weekends. However, I wonder if I should maybe try to do at least one Saturday shift a month - it works out at about £50 which is handy... something for me to think about.
A teaching job and a part time bar job don't go massively well together - a day with noisy kids and being on your feet doesn't go well with hours in a noisy bar, being on your feet!Since 'lightbulb moment' on 9th July 2017:

£7.85 made on Prolific today... unheard of recently! Every little helps and I will wait until my balance is clear before requesting money... I have about £25 there at the moment.
Nice day today with a course and a school trip. Left early as my foot was in agony - not sure what I have done but can hardly put any weight on it! Ouch!Since 'lightbulb moment' on 9th July 2017:

Well, yesterday got even better for PA and I ended up with another 2 surveys! Today I had one emailed to me which was for £2.
Good day today... BF bought us dinner from M & S - yum. Had enough to have it for lunch tomorrow too. SW not going well...!
Made £8ish from eBay which I've popped into my savings straightaway.Since 'lightbulb moment' on 9th July 2017:

I had another PA study last night - no idea where they are all coming from! I have a reading comprehension one which gave me £0.20 yesterday but will be £10 in total as there are another 3 related to it. I currently have £23.17 in my account with £5.40 pending. Lovely!
I also just used my Spin & Win spins on SB and one of the things I won was double SB on my next search win - well my next search was worth 100SB! So, I got another 100SB free... brilliant!
I go through phases with SB. Sometimes I aim to do lots of surveys and sometimes I get fed up of constantly being kicked out of surveys after pretty much completing them... things like SWAGO are a good boost though so I am trying to get as much from that as possible. I'm almost there for another Amazon card - I just do £3 at a time but it all adds up.
Off to Birmingham for the weekend which will be lovely but no doubt involve a few spends.Since 'lightbulb moment' on 9th July 2017:
