  • When I was small (8 ish) I would dress my cat in my hand knitted baby doll clothes, put her in my dolls pram and walk her around in the close outside.  She would often jump out, fully dressed and run back home, lol.  So I think your cat is lucky they have got away with a trim.  I don't do it anymore but I'm sure one of them wouldn't mind it :)

  • @Poppycat1 😂😂😂  He would love to do that but I don't think even our cat is that laid back!

We had a dog who I used to rope into all my games including the time I tied him up to the towel rail in the bathroom (goodness only knows, I was 4....).

Haha I remember we used the walk the cats round the house with a dressing gown belt tied around their collar as a lead.

  • Morning all :)

I have been making the most of my last week of maternity leave. I built a raised bed in the front garden from stone someone else in the village was removing from their garden. It actually looks very nice. Just need to acquire a huge amount of compost to go in it. We've had two walks round a local lake we did not know about until last week (and we live in the village my husband grew up in!).

One variety of tomato have germinated but as they are the cooking not the eating ones I am on tenterhooks for the rest.

Further adventures of DS1: cat survives but DS1 found his way into our bedroom and was very surprised that I knew he'd been playing with my perfume. Absolutely REEKED of DKNY Be Delicious all day...

I have my covid jab today. DH had his last week and says the process at our surgery is very smooth. Fingers crossed for no reaction.

And it's payday and I made it without hitting the big fat 0. Some PBs to buy before the end of the month but otherwise we are done until March. No windfalls coming my way next month that I know of so definitely need to tighten the belt to keep up the savings!

  • Thanks @savingholmes

Offered DS1 the woods or the lake for today's walk. "How about the Time Buffet?" he asked... 3 year olds. What are their brains on?
