We're going to Mauritius and are thinking of a Monzo card for pre-paid cash withdrawals.

A quick check on Tripadvisor suggests that cash withdrawals from an ATM shouldn't be a problem.
Don't just rely on only a Monzo (or any other) card though. You should always have a backup card (one that charges fees is better than nothing at all) for emergencies whichever primary card you choose.0 -
