Yodel being a pain in the ***

Hello,

I bought something on ebay which I told was dispatched on the 06/07 and here is the tracking info:

07/07/17 17:02 We came to collect your parcel but it wasn't available (Alfreton depot)

07/07/17 17:01 We have collected your parcel (Alfreton depot)

07/07/17 10:39 Your parcel is in transit (Wednesbury hub)

07/07/17 10:38 Your parcel is at our sort centre (Wednesbury hub)

06/07/17 18:45 Your parcel is in transit (Alfreton depot)

06/07/17 16:33 We have collected your parcel (Alfreton depot)

06/07/17 15:25 We have collected your parcel (Alfreton depot)


As you can see it has come from the Alfreton depot to the Wednesbury hub, then back to the Alfreton depot again. Now the overall status is:We came to collect your parcel but it wasn't available. Of course I have messaged the seller to see if they can do anything but just wondering, has anyone else had this before with Yodel. I tried customer service, but they were atrociously bad.

    Your seller is the only way you will get any help. They have the contract with Yodel.

    I brought something from a online retailer. We actually share the same local Yodel depot. Normally it goes in and then goes straight out again for delivery. This parcel bounced around depots for a while, getting further and further away before moving back in the right direction. Two weeks later it finally turned up.

    As above, the seller needs to sort this out. It's unlikely Yodel will talk to you.

    Let the seller deal with it - and rate them on how hard they try to help you, not how rubbish Yodel are!
