Scam site?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but would be grateful for any help.
My partner fell in love with some boots online, it turns out they are old stock from a previous season but thought I would see if I could track them down as a surprise birthday gift.
I found them on a site calling themselves Redfoot Shoes but the website address is https://www.rf-shoes.co.uk and if you search for Redfoot shoes on Google it is a different web address and you cannot find the boots when you do a search.
The boots are called Goodwin Smith Crawshaw and the rf-shoes website comes at the bottom of the first page when you google them.
I have a feeling it is a scam site trying to pass off as Redfoot but would like somebody else to confirm I am not going mad :rotfl:
ps. Tried to call redfoot but cannot get through
Thanks everybody
Xx

it looks legit and maybe just a site to get rid of old season stock
https://whois.domaintools.com/rf-shoes.co.uk
https://whois.domaintools.com/redfootshoes.com
both domains registered by the same person and the same address0 -
The only thing wrong with the domain registration is UK Individual.
The main thing wrong with the website is:
No contact details (email, phone, address)
No company number
No VAT number (not necessarily incorrect)
For a shopping website those things would get me thinking hmm.0 -
It does seem a bit like their website isn't as inclusive of information as it could be (see post #3) however the company seems legit.
https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/07443200/filing-history
The director on there matches the domain registrant and they have been trading for some time and dont seem to be in financial trouble.0 -

yes should have contact details on any UK based website0 -
Redfoot are registered in E&W under company number 07443200 and (so a bit of digging tells me) are a subsidiary of bacup shoe company.
The redfoot.com address lists those company details as their registered office in their T&C's. The rf-shoes does not (they dont even have T&C's). I even went through with a fake order to see if they tell you who takes the payment but that information isn't available until you actually pay.
Their facebook page also lists the .com address but not the rf-shoes.
Edit: I've contacted the company to ask them. Lets see what they say.You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
i am on their live chat to see what they say0

This is what they stated in live chatChat started on 07 Jul 2017, 01:35 PM (GMT+0)

(01:35:18) XXXXXX: can you please explain why your spin off site rf-shoes.co.uk does not have any contact details
(01:37:38) *** Eleanor joined the chat ***
(01:40:46) Eleanor: Hi XXXXXX, apologies that is because most traffic comes through our main website - Redfoot Shoes https://www.redfootshoes.com/ ... I can help you on here though if you're having any problems?
(01:41:39) XXXXXX: no just wondered if it was a genuine site as it has not contact details etc or even your T&C listed
(01:43:21) Eleanor: It is a genuine website, mostly used for our trade customers who already have our contact details. If you would like to shop with us I would advise using the above website
(01:43:35) XXXXXX: ok
(01:43:44) Eleanor: Is there anything else we can help you with today?

Many thanks for all your help.
So it looks like I am ok to place the order. I will pay on cc just incase.
At least others agreed it did look a little strange. I thought I was being too paranoid.
Trust my partner to yet again pick something obscure..he can never point out something on Next and say he likes them. He spends too much time on pinterest then his browsing history stalks him!
Thanks once again
