What is the legal position with alcohol if an ASDA delivery arrives later than 10pm?

Eeek! The plot thickens! I've checked the online status of my order again (it previously had the "We're sorry...delivery now between blah and blah..." statement) - and it now says "Your order was delivered at 10:03pm on Thursday, 06, Jul 2017". Dear ASDA, I can promise you it flipping well was NOT delivered.
Best case scenario - the driver realised that my order contained alcohol and therefore could not be delivered beyond 10pm, and therefore he clicked the "delivered" button on his little handheld machine thingy (which probably allowed an extra margin of 3mins to allow for people answering the door slowly or whatever), and he still plans to deliver my order as soon as he is able. Or am I being overly optimistic? LOL!
My nerves are frayed!!!!0 -

So what if they don't deliver your pish, you can always buy some tomorrow.0 -

LOL at the "raving alcoholic" comment! :rotfl:
Unfortunately I don't have any time tomorrow to get to the shops to buy what I need (I have people coming here for dinner).0 -
Have you not already paid for the alcohol and it is only being delivered?0

Just a wee update - the order arrived safe and sound, just over 10mins ago. The driver confirmed that he had updated it on the computer at 10pm to make sure I was able to get the alcohol with no problems.
Thanks for all the replies!

Thats on-premises (with special consideration needed for opening hours after 11pm). Off licenses are 10pm in scotland (with no option for extensions afaik).(3)If the off-sales hours proposed in the application are such that alcohol would be sold for consumption off the premises—
(a)before 10am,
(b)after 10pm, or
(c)both,
on any day, the Board must refuse the application.
