Foreign cash card withdrawls

Hi Mally Girl read your post very interesting. I do not know if you or the other forrum users can help me. I am looking for a current account where I can withdraw cash from ATM abroad and will not be charged by the bank. I have looked on comparision sites but I am not getting very much information from them. I live in Tanzania and find that everytime I go to the cash point to get cash I am charged and so would like to switch to a bank account where I will not be charged for taking my own money out.

This is my first time of using a forurm I would also like to pose the query I have above to the other forum users.

If you live in Tanzania then you need to consult local forums in Tanzania.

This is a UK forum, I highly doubt anyone here would know about Tanzania's banking system.

Is it a UK or Tanzanian bank account and card that you are using? Are you being charged by the ATM or your card provider? Do you have any verifiable UK address?
