Virgin just went live in my street - will I get a discount?

Virgin dug my street and laid cable around 4 months ago, and this week my address has come up on their service checker.

Question is: Is it likely that they will post a leaflet or offer me somehow a new customer/new street deal? or is the best i'll get on their website?

Mates rates which I could get is £20 off per month for Full House,

A refferal scheme from my company's employee discount scheme is £32 off per month AND £150 cashback.

Even if I got a new customer leaflet, would it be as good as those deals?!

I moved into a newly cabled area late last year and the website offers were the best I could find. The local door to door Virgin rep knocked on my door at one point and said he couldn't beat it. £30 a month for Full House, an additional box, BB and phone. Of course, your situation may be different and they may well have different strategies for different areas dependant on take up.

If you do order through the website, abaondon your order before you confirm it and quite often they will email you with a code for credit if you complete the order. Mine was £50.

Good grief that's a hell of a deal you've got there! I wouldn't be happy now with even the staff discount (Full House with only 1 TiVo £51 per month, with £200 cash back, making it around £34 per month) so more money and less TiVos, I love TiVos.....
