Surely that are insured for screw ups. Doubt they have to pay a seperate premium for every bit of business they do.
Insurers will base the premium for professional indemnity insurance on a number of factors. One being property values transacted. With such cover there'll be adjustments at the year end based on actual activity. Both up and down. As obviously it's impossible to forecast at the beginning of the year.
Recovery of the cost will be built into the fee quoted.0 -
Also the more expensive the property the more thorough they have to do checks, some areas will be in mining areas, flood zones etc... and so will attract extra fees because of the risks.0
