Thanks MMT.
So far it has been great. I took the first week in January off so have just stayed at home this week.
Caught up on TV, watched some Amazon Prime, read books, slept in, took lush baths and also started my new diet!
So I know that not everyone on here will agree with this and its not very MSE but I started the Cambridge Weight Plan on Tuesday and so far its going well.
I'm on step 1 which is full meal replacement, you can do this for up to 12 weeks but I am going to aim to stay on plan up to and including the 2nd March as my birthday is the 4th so will want to have a wee celebration that weekend.
Once it hits the 5th March I will be straight back on plan again, I might switch to step 2 at that point but I might do that just for a week then get back to step 1 for maximum weight loss.
Will speak to my consultant at the time as she may be best to advise me what to do.
I'm on day 3 and enjoying it so far, the hardest part for me so far has been drinking all the water! Up to 3 litres a day, jeez I am peeing a lot!!
Anyhoo this has ended up a massive post none of it about debt but I'm refusing to leave this part of the forum because I LOVE IT HERE!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like you've had a lovely week and your goals look good too.
I would be happy to do something like the Cambridge Weight plan if it was within my budget. There is something liberating with not having to think about food, and the weight just falls off. I've done similar and also juice fasts with extremely good results but my problem has always been keeping the weight off long term. Once I go back to a more 'normal' diet, I haven't been able to sustain the loss and tend to re-gain all or most of the weight within a year. It sounds like you have a plan and proper support so I only wish you the best of luck!0 -
I'm really excited to see the results.
The 6 steps of this introduce healthy meals so by the time I get to goal my mindset around food will have totally changed.
It's gonna be a healthy year, no junk food (well maybe once or twice a year) no eating out (maybe for birthdays and Christmas) so by the end of the year I will be out of the habit of just stuffing my body full of junk!!

Aw thanks PSL.
Right so back at work tomorrow for the first time in 2018, not gonna lie its gonna be a bi**h.
I have been getting used to these lazy days at home, waking up and reading my book in bed until I feel like getting up.
6:15am alarm tomorrow will be like a kick to the chunky a$$ :rotfl:
So today is day 6 of my new diet, it's been going really well, maybe a bit too well actually. I was fully expecting to be starving all day but I haven't just goes to show the products do what they say on the tin, Friday is my first WI so I cannot wait to see how much I lose.
Imagine if I didn't
God that would be the worst so it would.
Made the husband a crockpot pasta bake yesterday and just dished it into 4 big beautiful plates of yumminess for him to have this week, will whack some mozzarella on top and bung them in the oven, that should keep him happy.
My house smells sooooooooooooooo good!
Just had my first shake, coffee and some water so ready to go and tackle my wardrobe which has been on my list for quite sometime, I open it now and stuff just falls out so it needs to be done today!

First day back at work, what a shock to the system when my alarm went off at 6:15am.
Earliest I have been up allllllllllllll year.
So plan for today diet wise is to have my products at the same time's I have been having them;
*11:30am
*4:30pm
*8pm
We will see how it goes considering I have been up 5 hours earlier than I have been all year
