No i am asking if that search affects or influences the bank decision in any way, does the search matter to the bank?

Old creditors did a search a few months ago (would this go against me if I apply to my bank) to find me at my current address I've not contacted them. No default shows as they expired years ago.
I need to move out of my current location urgently I'm looking no more than £500. It's more living and moving costs as the 1St months rent deposit is going to eat up most of my salary this month.
What options are open to me to get a loan or credit card are the payday loans any good I don't know much about them or is there any alternatives or gramts
I'm out....0 -
Your last reply makes no sense your out of what?
I don't seem to have all the answers to my questions. I don't know what affects the banks decision that is why I am asking here for advice and weather there is another avenues, I don't want to be turned down for it if there was something I overlooked or did not realise and then have it registered on my credit file causing more problems.
I haven't had anything to do with credit cards and loans for 15 years but obviously the system changes and all that business with ppi changed the banking system hence why I need to ask for assistance here.
Hope someone else more knowledge can help.My Signature is MY OWN!!0 -
Will your bank give you an overdraft?
If not, get on the voters roll and then apply for a credit card.
Payday loans are a disaster waiting to happen.0 -
Thanks for your reply I don't know how overdraught works is this an alternative avenue?
I don't want to put myself on voters role in case someone else does fraud at this property it's shared accommodation and the landlord hasn't declare some tenants living here this us why I want to leave. I do t want to associate myself with this idiot or the address.
As I said my phone contract which is obviously classed as a credit agreement and obviously my current account records link me here so it's not like there is nothing on my credit file just I have no credit cards etcMy Signature is MY OWN!!0 -

There is nothing to risk. You don't share a credit file with your landlord.0

It still won't affect you.
Not being on the electoral roll might be an issue for lenders, credit card companies, some will turn you away and others will be a more lengthy process.
An overdraft might work, an overdraft is like a loan, you pay x amount each month but it can be recalled at any time.0
