    Hmmmmm.

    He will obviously call this builder out at some stage, maybe for the issues you mentioned, maybe for something else between tenancies.

    If he's replacing the floor, then they'll be going anyway won't they.

    In which case, why should you pay an extra call out fee?

    If he has broken down the cost to fix the two items I would offer to pay that, he can let them do it whilst they're there doing the floor surely if he's so insistent about replacing it!! So I would offer £10 for each item that he quoted...

    Hi everybody,

    Just to let you all know that I have finally agreed to deduct £100 as it wasn't really worth my time to go through the dispute for the amount I could have gotten.

    Thanks again for all the help. I wouldn't have gotten so much back without it.
