    Afternoon all.

I'm having a CBA doing very very little day. It feels a waste of a day off but there you go.

My washing machine was on for 3 hours refusing to spin  I dread to think how much that has cost me :(

I really should do something but I just can't muster up the energy or enthusiasm...

Hope you are all having a good day :) x

Sometimes they are just what is needed - don't beat yourself up for it, sit & listen to the birds / radio, read, watch property or cookery !!!!!! as my DH calls it - "LocationLocation", "Under The Hammer", Bake Off repeats etc

    Thanks Floss :)

I can't escape that feeling of guilt though :o and my CBA days often mean my eating anything and everything I can get my hands on which just adds to the guilt :o

I'm not long back from DD1's, she's home but must not be alone for 48 hours, I got there just after 6 so her hubby could go to work, DD2 took over at 1 and I came home.
My dizziness is back with a vengeance, probably too much clambering around after the 3 yo twins.
The smell of white spirit isn't helping, CHS is on the final coat of the 1st colour.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Afternoon all,

Happy anniversary Silver-Oldie. I hope your having a lovely day. :)

I'm ok, just got lots of mental stress going on at the moment. Mainly with Prodigal who seems hell bent on self destruction and theres nothing at all i can do about it.

    Onwards and forwards,

hope your having a great day all.

Well today I couldBA but got scuppered by the puncture.

The space saver is on and the dead tyre in the boot. I've spoken to the garage in Oban to check they've got the correct tyre for my car and booked it in for 9.00am.

I was planning to go down to see DM to sort out her new Infinity router which is arriving tomorrow. We've decided that, as the service isn't going live until Wednesday she can wait until Thursday. So, we can revert to a normal routine.

Today has been so miserable again. :( it seems as if summer will never come here.

I've ordered a rattan chair for the bedroom. It's been on my mind for ages and now it's done. Apart from that my day has been calm and quiet.

Virtual hugs to those having difficulties and welcome to enchilada.

    Welcome ENCHILADA,
    Hugs JUDI,

Thank you to everyone for their good wishes.
Today is our Ruby Wedding Anniversary, so although every year is special, today is 'more' special.
Lunch was really nice, DH asked if I thought we would be doing this in 10 years time, some times it's so hard to know what to say, we have always been honest with each other :(
If you walk at night no-one will see you cry.
  • Welcome to Enchilada, nice to have you with us.

Happy Anniversary to Silver-Oldie and hubby.

Hi Ancientofdays, yes we did see the Welsh National Opera, wasn't it a wonderful performance? not been to that theatre before and thought that was lovely too in fact we liked it so well that we've booked tickets to see the ballet Romeo and Juliette in the October half term too! we know a really super little hotel not far away, have stayed there a couple of times before for various things and will book it again next time. Much super retail therapy was had on Saturday too so a great visit for DD and myself.

We've had a quieter day today, got the washing dry and I've just done her ironing, had home made soup for lunch to use up some bendy veg and finished our chicken and salad for supper, yum! I'm home tomorrow and will be pleased to get back to routine after a week of sheer pleasure with DD2 and the grandsons and here with DD1 but I like everyday too and I've got Maisie doggie coming for the evening tomorrow which always makes me happy. I'll log in when I get home tomorrow and catch up with you all then xxx.
