    Seventh Anniversary Combo Breaker
Update ,the spoke to the sales manager, the dealership will sort out the wheel arch, the corrosion is relatively small at the moment and I believe it was probably stone damage so surface not internal. Rav4s dont have any known issues with rotting wheel arches on the mk3.
I will subsequently protect the arches with some spray on sealer and clean them every 2-3months,should last years.
The air con will also be fixed, although this would covered by warranty if I had a a/c failure sometime between now and June 2019. Toyota will extend warranties from 5to10 yrs which at least gives consumers confidence in reliability.
I'm being loaned brand new car for the week as im going away,so that's 500miles in their car not mine. I feel a lot better now, I was getting worked up about it.Thanks for all the replies
