Worth pursuing?

Sorry im not sure if i should post this in one of the airline specific threads?

Was on flight MT1966 from manchester to tenerife, 13/06/17. Flight was delayed 3-4 hours due to 'third party software issues'. Im sure ive read somewhere on here that this was down to an update at manchester airport and therefore probably isnt covered? Is that the case?

At the time thomas cook seemed like the only operator having serious issues and other airlines seemed to be managing fine. Also noticed some other thomas cook flights wherent delayed which makes me think this might be knock on?

Any clarification?

Ive put basic details in bott and co and somewhere else. And they initially accept that compensation is due but im not sure if its worth going with one of these companies or pursuing myself?

Any help greatly appreciated!

    Yes should be on the Thomas cook thread. EuClaim think you are possibly due €400 per passenger. Put your flight details into bottonline and see what they say.
