Hi, Our Easy Jet flight from Pisa to Manchester on the 30th May 2017 was delayed for over 4 hours. The airline accepted responsibility when my husband put in a claim via their website. He has since received his compensation, but mine has not been acknowledged. He completed the application, which asked for details of other passengers that need to be included in the claim.
He has emailed them back several times, but each time they only comment that they have paid out for the claim for him, and ignore the question about where my compensation is.
Is this normal? Do they only pay for one of the passengers?
He received £230, into the bank this week.
Thanks in advance for your help

By paying your husband a compensation, they have acknowledged that they have been responsible for the delay. I think that you and the other passengers should open separate applications and see if it will work in that way. Good luck.0

Yes that is what I thought, so I tried to put a claim in myself and they have stated you can only claim once!!!
I am wondering if the £230 is for both of us? Maybe I have misunderstood when I thought £230 was the minimum you got EACH?0 -
I'm not 100% sure but as they state that you can only claim once, it might be that the payment your husband received was for both of you.0

NO £230 is for one of you. Does it tell you which passenger it has paid. If not give them a call to find out. If it does then the other is owed €250 euro. Download and read Vaubans guide and if necessary if you don't know which of you received the compensation both send a letter before action to them. Then you will find out who they have already paid, because they will reject the one they have already paid.0

No, they havent specified who they have paid the £230 for, thought the email informing of the payment was addressed to my husband. They just seem to ignore any question, via email as to my payment. Telephone? I would love too! Not tracked down how to speak to Easy Jet yet!
Really appreciate your help, thanks0 -
