Restore was nuked in the Anniversary update but this problem was fixed with the recent Creative update. I use Restore Point Creator which makes the process a lot easier http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/restore_point_creator.html
You know what uranium is, right? It's this thing called nuclear weapons. And other things. Like lots of things are done with uranium. Including some bad things.

Click on the windows icon on the bottom left - settings icon- update and security - recovery ( on the left) Advance start up start up now,
you will then get some more options you then click on Advance options then system restore and choose when you want to restore the pc back too
    Hope this helps

I still prefer win7 so i don't know if this comment is 100% germane. But I found with both win7 and XP, that system restore usually let me down when i vitally needed it. For several years now i've had system restore switched off and used macrium reflect free to back up. Every time i've had to restore after a serious system problem - not often thankfully - it has worked flawlessly.
