Ok I've never done this before. If i select that I have no bags to check in does that mean I can still have hand luggage? I'm looking to go to Ireland overnight with the children & would obviously need some bits lol would we get 1 bag each aswell? (4 children 2 adults)
Thanks & sorry for being thick.

Yes, you can have one piece of hand luggage each (excluding infants). There are restrictions. From their website:

    "Cabin Baggage Allowance
Each passenger (excluding infants) is permitted to carry one piece of cabin baggage on board (free of charge). It should weigh no more than 10kg and not exceed the maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm. "

    Enjoy your trip!

So far this year, we've been on 1p flight day trips to Pisa, Dublin and next week we're off to Venice. The detinations are not so good this time, and I don't really want to take the kids out of school yet again, so sadly won't be taking advantage.
  • OMG thank you so much. Just managed to book to go to Dublin from Liverpool in November. There is 3 adults, 1 child and a baby and its gonna cost us £22. The only reason we have to pay so much is because the baby is £7 each way and we have to do airport checking in. If we didnt take the baby it would of cost us.........8p for 3 adults and 1 child return. I just cant believe it.

Just to echo what others have said you need to look at what dates and times these offers are on. If you click on your nearest airport and select the destination you want to go to it should bring up a screen that will advise you of booking dates and times. I had this open in a seperate screen when I was booking just so I could flick back to check. HTH.

Thanks for the replies. I wussed out after not knowing how much it would cost us for a hotel for the night so we are doing a day trip instead. £28.14 for 7 of us with no hand luggage :) so basically just paying to book in £2 each each way which is great. children will be thrilled so we have decided to do it as a christmas present. All they are interested in is the flight anyway lol so 4 thrilled children for a bargain price (& us adults get a lovely day away from the usual grind of daily life)
