Why do peeeps still come on here and say you have to pay the TAXES.
Ryanair have done this promotion 4 times now this year and there are 1p (free) flights available.
I have just spent 2 minutes looking and have found 1p(free) flights in november there and back to Brussels NO TAXES0 -
Much better destinations last time.....i managed to get 4 separate sets of flights each for 4 persons to Spain for 8p per set....bargain...0

Last time they had this deal of 'free' flights for which they charged 1p a section & supposedly a charge for using a visa debit card.
Put my debit card in & it's not an electron BUT didn't get charged a penny on it.
I have seen a few returns at 4p for the 2 of us. Now have to wait for hubby to wake up enough to see where he wants to go.

Ohhh how I love 2p flights

OK I know they only start off at 2p but before everyone goes mad and books flights for places they don`t really want to go to,do a bit of research.
Some of the airports are miles from anywhere and you have to find accomodation and transfers.
Even if you only take hand luggage, there`s still a £4 fee to check-in at the airport, unless you can find a way to print your RETURN boarding card while abroad.
2p is a great bargain but only if you work everything out first and don`t get caught out.
Oh and the other favourite expression we usually hear is "it`s only 2p,so even if I don`t go,I`ve lost nothing"

HOW TO DO IT FOR FREE (well perhaps a penny each way)
To find the "free" ones click the "Find Lowest Fair" button on the left of the RyanAir home page. Some prices have no taxes, others do... experiment with different dates/times! You may have more luck with "REG FARE" instead of "WEB FARE" for no-tax flights. The no-tax flights are out there - finding them is part of the fun!!!
Alternatively visit http://flightchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/ and search for flights under £1 for the relevant routes, the "free" flights are a token 1p each way including taxes.
When booking at RyanAir, on the Passenger Details page
1. Select "0 bags online checkin/priority boarding" as that seems to be free (is it really the other way round than it used to be???)
2. In the drop-down country box change UK to "No Travel Insurance Required"
That should give a grand total of 0.00...
Remember for check-n-go you also need to check-in online for the return flight, if you're only going for a day or one night you can do this before you go otherwise you'll need to find internet access out there (or pay £4 and use the check-in desk coming back). If doing a day trip take into account the airport might be a fair old bus ride from the quoted city (ryanair do tell you about this on the destination pages).
Hint: pay with a debit card and not a credit card for lower charges.
Booking Period: Tue 02nd Oct 07 - Thu 04th Oct 07

It was very kind of you to take the time to do this, unfortunately web fare from liverpool - belfast still has charges...squidworth wrote: »HOW TO DO IT FOR FREE (well perhaps a penny each way)
The easiest way is to click the "Find Lowest Fair" button on the left of the RyanAir home page. Its the "REG FARE" prices which have no taxes, with the "WEB FARE" flights you will have to pay taxes still.
Alternatively visit http://flightchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/ and search for flights under £1 for the relevant routes, the "free" flights are a token 1p each way including taxes.
This route doesn't show on the mse flightchecker either.
Hopefully it will help other people though. The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0
