Wow, thanks for the lectures and finger pointing ����the cc company have agreed that my complaint is valid and they have restored my account and status.
I won't be recommending this forum to anyone else that is looking for a bit of help in a hurry.
That's a pity. I think some of the replies were more supportive.
Glad you got it sorted. As noted, you can't rely on them to "repair" the credit agency records, even if they have told you they have and have refunded charges. I know this from experience. If it matters to you, you should get a copy from the agency. Unless you're planning on getting more credit soon I wouldn't bother though. One-off stuff like this soon ceases to be important.0
