Hi everyone
while my laptop is in for repair I want to see if i can finish some accounts on my tablet, an asus eee transformer tf 101. I know nothing, lol.
I was using open office org calc for the accounts, does anyone know if there is a similar free software that I could download onto the tablet?
Thanks :-)

Why can't you download Open Office to the tablet?

That's if it's an Android tablet, of course. I use it on my Lenovo Tab3 8" tablet, works fine.
EDIT: Broken link, sorry! try this:

You're not daft Kerry, it was my fault and MSE, who do not recognise t i n y u r l.com -which is where I took the first (shortened) link from. (spaced letters so you can tell the link source)
I was an Accountant for a while after I became too disabled to work as a Workshop foreman, and retrained for 12 months. I would have probably stayed with it, had the software been as good as it is now! Good luck with the download and getting your work done.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

True and helpful, but the OP is already using OpenOffice Calc on her laptop, so would be using the programme she already knows. Plus she can sync the tablet to her laptop when it's repaired and the work will be seamlessly saved on both.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

Robisere, thanks :-) I'm wondering if you can help. I worked last night on the accounts and then today when I opened up the file, the spreadsheet was there but no figures. Then after fiddling around, opening and closing various things, suddenly the figures appeared I knew I'd saved them.
Now I've opened it up again and no figures again. Is it just a quirk of this software that it removes and then replaces stuff? Any advice? Thanks for your time, now I'll go look for it again0 -
not finding it....have done jan to march yesterday. October to December this afternoon and cannot find that at all despite saving.
Also when I attach it to an email, I then can't seem to open the attachment. It appears to download, but when I click on downloads, they disapear, nothing opens up...0 -
