I've just had a chat with them on the phone. The instruction to print off and post the application with a cheque is wrong. They are aware and will change it.
Still telling new applicants to send in cheques...Making a deposit to your new account
You must make your deposit by personal cheque, at the same time as sending us your signed application form.

Thanks for highlighting this - I've just opened it online. I already had Issues 3 and 4 but didn't realise I had online access until today!0
