I applied online* for issue 4. Once completed I could view my existing issue 3 online together with several older passbook accounts, including some accounts which I manage under power of attorney.

I take the passbooks in to a local branch annually for updating.

*"Online" at that time meant that you had to fill in a form on screen, then print it out and put it in the post with a cheque.

I still have online access to Leeds Building Society due having that e-ISA that everyone went nuts over back in about 2013, finally remembered my online details for it again, and I've now got online viewing access for the current(ish) regular saver. I'll be applying online this time, saves having to make an appointment.

That's my plan too for when this is hopefully launched later today.

However I tried to apply within my online accounts for a recent product from LBS and there was an issue with the launch such that it wasn't available in the drop downs.

Hence applicants had to phone up.

Fingers crossed today's launch is smooth.

There is an option to apply for the ISS 5 Regular Saver account once you have logged on to your account but I can't find the interest rate so didn't fully go through the application.

When you log on and select the ISS Regular 5 you can then click on the Product Terms and Conditions - this is the link but it is currently missing:

Have opened one, but as you say, no T&Cs available. On phone now ..........
2.3% £250 max fixed 1 yr no bonus.
they are sorting out the T&Cs (will emailed to me shortly)

Be very careful not to exceed the £3000 maximum balance especially if you're in the habit of topping up your regular savers on the 1st of the month. You can't make a final deposit in July 2018.
