Hi all
At the end of June I'm the final stretch on having defaults removed from my file .
My question is though
When I log in to my credit file I can see previous reports dating back 6 months obviously still showing the defaults ,Do lenders also see this or can they only access the most up to date file when doing a credit check.
Thanks in advance.

Hi
My defaults are coming to the end of the six year time frame and dropping of the most up to date credit report this month but I can also look back at the last 6 months of previous reports showing these defaults still current can lenders also do this or can they just access the most recent i:e this July coming which the defaults would no longer be on or can they also see the previous reports say may and Junes showing the defaults still current .0 -
They see a current report, with 6 years history.0

If your default is due to drop off say end of June and you applied for credit in July - the lender will be able to see July's credit file which will show the last 6 years payment history for any accounts you hold. The default which will have dropped off at the end of June means that the 6 year history is wiped from your file so no, the lender won't see it or any trace of it's history.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. Once they're off your file, they're off.
No, lenders wont be able to access an earlier report, only what's current to them at the time of a credit check.
