I have a skoda. Thoroughly recommend it. Solid cars!

    or this:

from another thread on this forum

SEAT Toledo 1.0 TSI xcellence £11995 OTR this is a really good deal for a top spec Toledo.
the car is similar to the Skoda rapid, but better spec.

Hyundai, honestly everytime, the i30 is lovely. You can pick up some great second hand ones for half that money.

Lol. Op wants a car that stands out and you recommend a Hyundai i30, not even the coupe.:rotfl:

I don't think Hyundai make a coupe any more, they certainly don't have one on their New Cars web page (although the i40 does have a bit of a coupe look to it, but list price is well over the OP's budget).

Decent car the fiesta. Though just because you have £15k to spend doesnt mean you should. Look at buying two years old and save about half the money.

Loads of ex fleet / rental cars about and going by a Ford main dealer will mean you'll be looking at Grade A cars.

I bought a Passat from a main VW dealer, exactly 1 year old, 16K miles on the clock - list price £25,000, discounted price £22,000 and i got it for £15,250 including a full service, mats, flaps and a full tank of fuel

I think they're very nice looking cars, better than a fiesta at any rate!

I recently bought a brand new 208 on one of Peugeot's just add fuel agreements. I have to say I am so made up with it! can highly recommend it. We went for one with a little bit more power and that made a significant difference! :)

A one year old Smart for Four, not the fastest of cars but certainly individual and very cheap to run.

Should be able to get a 0.9 turbo with good trim and pack level, maybe even a Brabus for that money.

Or new model at a lower level trim etc.
  • What about Volkswagen Up? It comes in some lovely colours and its cash retail price is around £10k for a new one.
