Flight destination changed

On 12th May 2017 I purchased a flight with Air Ethiopia from Aberdeen to Durban via London and Addis Ababa. On 24th June I was informed that my final destination was Johannesburg. No flight from Joburg to Durban was included and no refund is possible. I feel very annoyed as I will have to pay a further £100 and the flight times are inconvenient.

Did you buy directly from the airline?0

Did your flight confirmation have Durban airport as your destination ?
If so you have an absolute right under EC reg EU261:2004 to fly to Durban.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
when are you due to fly? It looks like Ethiopian operate Addis Ababa to Durban on Wednesdays and Fridays until 26th July and via JNB at other times0
