Who to approach?

Hi,

We want to move our son into a bigger room and need to do 2 things:

- Remove wallpaper and paint room
- Replace build in cupboard doors as they are warped and old - dont know if they are standard size.

Now I wouldnt know where to start and would look to pay someone to do the job. Who would I approach? Is there a trade that would do both jobs?

Thanks,
Darren

A good DIY person should be able to do both.

Ask on your local area FaceBook pages.

As this is a money saving site, I have to say - doing it yourself would be a LOT cheaper (and by the time you wait for someone to come and do the job, probably quicker too).

You can strip the wallpaper with a bucket of water, a sponge, and a scraper (a wallpaper steam stripper would be quicker). You can paint the walls with a brush or a roller.

And you can measure the doors and compare them with ones available online to see if they're a standard size.
