    A trailer sounds the best option; no insurance needed but make sure you clamp one wheel; see:

    And make sure it's the correct way round for the direction of traffic (rear reflectors to the rear) as it's not going to have lights. I'd probably go for an old horse box (you can get knackered ones pretty cheap) since a tiny camping trailer will be too easy to miss / move.
