Potterton Promax HE plus E160 fault

Hi all,
I have a potterton promax HE plus 24 boiler which has been indicating an intermittent error fault E160 since we have moved into our house since feb 2017. The boiler does work but have to keep resetting the boiler sometimes over 5 times a day!! The previous owners spent over £500 on the boiler which included a new fan. We have spent close to £200 to replace the circuit board. According to the manual these replacement parts should have solved the e160 problem, but no such luck.
We would wecolme any suggestions on how we can resolve this boiler issue or are we looking at a new boiler?
