I thought I had changed as when I returned to work, all I really wanted was to be able to go in, do my hours and come home with no responsibility, no grand plans, no taking over the world.
However, it took that first shift for all the old feelings, frustrations etc for me to revert to type.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Weather has improved a lot here. Can now go out and read (sleep) in the garden chair. Lovely.0

I'm in a clique! It's a clique of one! It's a unique clique!

I googled for a test and did the first one that presented itself on Google.
ISTJ.
It's not something I've ever needed to know - only ever encountered such a test once, about 30+ years ago.0 -

Just read the first couple of pages of the ISTJ type, and from what I know of you, Pastures, it does seem spot on!Loanranger wrote: »I am convinced it is a stable measurement from a personal perspective and also from professional usage, I am a qualified MBTI practitioner. Lapsed these days though!
It is an interesting and useful tool for measuring and analysing team dynamics. Fascinating to look at why particular colleagues can work together happily and how others irritate the hell out of you.
I never realised you could be a practitioner of it!(I just lurve spiders!)

A firm would want people done.... and a practitioner would send out the forms, then receive back the completed forms and sit and stare at them until they'd worked out what sort of people each were.... and, theoretically, "who/what was missing" from a team - and/or what nonsense "team building" things to force people onto
I bet it was "a nice little earner", especially back in pre-computer days
Not quite right! I used it with real people, not online.
No sitting and staring.
You would also have to successfully complete a week long residential course with exams and then use it with people, real life scenarios, not an exercise, then present your findings to be scrutinised before you are given the pass certificate. Pass rate, 80 %. Then you are allowed by the professional body which oversees this kind of thing, psychometric assessment, to be registered with them and only then can you purchase the materials and become a practitioner. The British Psychological Society are very protective of this stuff.
Similarly with other types of tests such as ability tests and personality questionnaires.0 -

But then I often get different scores as all my balances are between 55-45 except for the A which is 89%I think....0 -

Logician personality. I think this is actually about right.
Unfortunately, it means that I tend to say what I honestly believe. Sometimes, with disastrous consequences, as you can imagine, but I apparently cannot! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

My F and T are quite close to each other. I think over the years I've moved closer to T.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
