Rubbers are useless; I use the propelling pencils and the rubbers on those are hard and all they do is create a dark smudge. Rubbers used to be much better years ago....
I did buy one propelling pencil which has good rubber tips....that was a Faber Castell Grip Plus, funnily enough.
I've got it here, but I prefer the ordinary pencils, while they last. I did get in a supply of the eraser tips for the propelling one, though, just in case. Perhaps I'd better get some more.
I can't remember what it cost.... I got it in Smith's.
Just googled..... the 0.7 size is £6.89(I just lurve spiders!)

The plate heat exchanger's going.0 -
Have they got eraser tips, though?
I'm working through said supply of Berol Mirado. The original sort. The eraser tips on them are good.
Some of the clutch pencils have (had?) a sharpener in the button. That seems to be random though, could be earlier ones. I don't know.
Really though I'd rather have a decent "proper" eraser, than the thing on the end of pencils these days.
I've got a stock of the Bic mechanical pencils, used for work. The pencils are great. The rubbers aren't.

No, it won't be cheap. What make boiler is it, and how old?
I had a Worcester Bosch one go *just* outside the 5 year guarantee, but fortunately they kindly fixed it free of charge. It was a full hour of the fitter's time, plus the part on the WB would have been £300.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I guess you could say "I'm ahead" because ... if I'd taken out a boiler cover at, say, £15/month, I'd have spent £825 by now on "nothing".0

Modern boilers don't last long.
You could ask him what a like for like boiler replacement would cost. A new boiler is a definite selling point for the house, whilst hundreds spent tarting up an old one is not. Bummah! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I'll have a look at those.
Yes, the erasers,on the end of the Faber Castell propellers are good.
For big rubbings-out, an ordinary rubber is best. I've got one that is good, even though it is yonks old.(I just lurve spiders!)

I did think of that.... if it's £300 -v- £3000 then it's a part.0
