You have set the bugg4h all bar remarkably high. None of us can possibly complete.
Welcome home though, it's great to have you back. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? What Jazee said.No matter. Welcome back PN!

What zag said too.
Coming on here on my laptop this evening I see how badly my phone autocorrect mangled "Jazee" and "zag" this afternoon. Apologies!Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -
Keeping a house tally. 45 that I could've viewed (A List) have been sold. Still 57 on the A List.
Total houses on spreadsheet 957. Being on the spreadsheet means I opened the listing, saw where it was, checked size/layout, checked orientation, looked at boundaries, looked at photos, looked for last price sold/when ... it's only after that lot one gets graded.
Full time job springs to mind.
It's not as if they're all lovely .... indeed, every one of them has about 5+ compromises even on the A list!
I need to get me a fat winning Lottery ticket0 -
I once won on the lottery. I was given the ticket at a Christmas lunch. That's the only time I've had a lottery ticket.
£10, so it wouldn't have solved your problem, Pastures. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Strange, I have met you irl and you definitely weren't the weirdest person in the room.....PasturesNew wrote: »I just assumed some idiot misunderstood conversational English language when placed in context.
You mean there was a loon on the loose targetting people? How bizarre of them. How sad to go through life with your head bent like that.
Who was it? And is there a "why?"?
There was nothing gained by them. How small minded, feeble and ridiculous they are.
My recent experiences made me realise that the best way to cope is to feel really, really sorry for them, as they must have real problems in their life, or have real MH issues, diagnosed or, more likely, undiagnosed, to take it out on an innocent person.
Whatever is the matter with them, they deserve our pity.
As long as you, and everyone here knows that the attack was undeserved, that's all that matters.
However, I'm the first person to concede that you can have a hundred compliments paid to you, but it is the one vicious remark that you remember and dwell on.
Just remember, though, that that is just what really vicious people want to happen.....make you brood and feel bad. Don't let them win by brow-beating you.......the phrase DLTBGYD springs to mind!Creetown_Billy wrote: »Hello nice people , sorry to bumrush your thread but could you possibly tell me where the button is to start a thread of my own because I am obviously to much of a dumbass to find it myself.

Students should apply for Uni after they get their A level results...
I've been saying that for years! It's never made sense that they were distracted while they should be revising .... not to mention the wasted time/effort of attending without knowing what you could do ... and it'd put off those with fewer means as it's all so expensively speculative.
