I've been "allowed" back since 31 December, the message I got said 10am, but who knows... I didn't try. I was miffed.
For those who couldn't care/didn't know, I was banned because of a casual remark in a pleasant chatty thread (cooking for one), somebody said they'd bought Joe Wicks' book .... and all I said was "Such a super annoying ..." with the last word beginning with a P
Not "bad" was it? It had been there nearly a week too before somebody spotted/reported it.
Just a single, off the cuff, remark ... conversation moved on.
So there I was ... without you all (or anybody as I was home alone the whole of Xmas and since). So I had to twiddle my thumbs on facebook (upset lots of people there, of course, innocently)... read lots of Daily Mail online and watched some catchup TV as I can with this PC.
I also didn't come back immediately because ... that'd look "desperate"I didn't want anybody to have any sense of satisfaction that I had been utterly destroyed by the ban ... so had to wait a bit

1/ Remove temporary pole/nets from patio doors, wind down the pole and tuck it away upstairs, fold the net and put it into a drawer.
2/ Swap all the loo rolls for new/full ones.
3/ Check/swap the kitchen towel for a new/full one (tucking the other one inside the bread bin).
4/ Do all washing up, drying, putting away. Scrub/polish the sink/drainer and dry them; position the tap "just so"; dry and put away the plate drainer. Wipe down all the kitchen worktops.
5/ All tea-towels either hidden or folded neatly. Remove/fold/hide old bathroom towel and replace with new/bright/unused one. Remove plastic rinsing tub from bath edge and tuck it in corner; adjust the toiletries on the bath edge/windowsill so they're tidy.
6/ Toaster and toaster oven out of sight in cupboards.
7/ Clean/wash/bleach loos, bath, sinks. Clean/wash/wipe all floors.
8/ Check bedding as straight as they can be. Check curtains "positioned" how I'd like. Adjust kitchen blinds to be "how I want them"
9/ Remove old towels and replace with unused/clean ones (kept tucked away).
10/ Disassemble PC, tuck it all away, move the little table it's on; place little dish on table. Put the tiny stool (used for monitor height) and the laptray (used as a mousemat) away under the stairs
11/ Ensure front gate's unlocked/unbolted
12/ Shake/remove the grubby front door mat; shake the "for best" one that's underneath it (bought to look better than the grubby one). Roll/tuck the grubby mat away in the understairs cupboard.
13/ Put the jar of coffee away in cupboard; turn the kettle round "the right way" and tuck it up the corner. Open all kitchen cupboard doors to ensure the contents look respectable/neat/tidy if opened.
14/ Wipe down all the kitchen worktops.
15/ Take any empty jars or household rubbish out with me (do a tiny tip run while out)
16/ Move pouffe to correct position; hide "tobacco rolling tray" under the sofa. Unpeg the bit of string holding the window locking key and put the key/string/peg in a little bag.
17/ Hide the butts pot that's in the garden (it's small, but I actually forgot to do this bit yesterday! It's in a plant pot so maybe overlooked).
18/ Open all the doors "the correct amount".
Go round checking all the above is still correct/I didn't overlook anything.
Probably other stuff too ... and that's why I try to keep my house "one hour ready" - perpetually on top of all other housework so that if I were to get a call, I could do the above in one hour, get changed, brush my hair and leave0 -
Im so glad you came back PN
My ban was lifted on the 11th, I came straight back
