More brambles got cut and cleared.
A lawn was mowed.
A picture was changed/replaced - unfortunately, moving that's revealed another tiny spot that needs a dab of paint, which I've put into the shed.... bummer. Oh well.
Some artificial flowers and vases have been faffed about with ... and, by the looks of things, will need more faffing as "that's not quite what I had in mind" ...
I also got round to changing the kitchen lightbulbs I bought 4-5 weeks ago - so I now have four matching bulbs that all work!
Deckchairs on the unsinkable ship .... have been moved.0 -

I know... and once it's sorted I have to live like a ninja lodger who sneaks out at night and leaves no trace. No more leaving things "in soak", or leaving things draining... no more tossing things onto the chair "in case I want them again in the next few weeks/months"....
Agent's phoned, he's on his way.... office is 1 mile from here, but I've no idea where they park as that building's probably got no parking on site.0 -
To any Inner Hertsian NPs who are partial to Strictly Come Dancing,
applications for the audience ticket draw for the shows at Elstree ends tomorrow at 4pm, so get your applications in.
You can apply for a pair of tickets for each show, but only one pair per show, and they will be allotted by a draw.(I just lurve spiders!)

I've sworn that the next time we do it, I will kick out anyone who comes in and says things like "It's quite nice but we don't like the curtains"
"We're looking for a 20 bedroom manor house with a moat, but thought we'd have a look at this"
"We don't like the kitchen"
or all the other inane things people [STRIKE]wasting your time[/STRIKE] viewing houses say.

When I exchanged contracts on this house, and took my young sprog to see it, he said he was glad we were moving there because he liked the table that was in the kitchen! :rotfl: :rotfl:(I just lurve spiders!)

Er, what was his reaction when you moved in - to an empty kitchen?0 -
