I think that turning one inside out would have worked, actually. Very clever of you to think of that without even seeing them!

    Thanks Pyxis :)

I will catch up later on, have a load of phone calls I want to get out of the way first :)

Bit of a rant (will probably disappear later). Called Godaddy this morning as something on their website wasn't working to change something that needs to be changed for legal reasons, had a pushy saleswoman attempt to renew something that should have been identified earlier on in the conversation won't need to be renewed for that long.

Apparently doing so until 2026 is the best option economically (which from that standpoint I can agree with), however 2 of the 4 domain names expiring in 2021 (all 4 purchased in 2011) will be phased out by 2020 with the other 2 being moved to the new supplier at time same time.

When that didn't work, an attempt at renewing email accounts (again parts of which are straddled between them and another supplier) for around £1400 was attempted. £1400 for 5 years is about £20 a month just for e-mail, that and hosting can be combined with the new supplier for £50 a year.

I've asked her to email me the offer with details of a direct line so I can [STRIKE]get her off the phone as it was 3am and I'd just woken up[/STRIKE] look over it, however can't see (even with a £400ish saving) how it's any cheaper than the £50 a year I'm spending anyway (despite being promised it would be), especially when both offer similar features and the new company have never tried to upsell on the odd occasion I've had to speak to them about anything.

So, if anyone can see how £1000ish is cheaper than £250 I'd have to spend anyway (so £0), please do let me know

I've just discovered that pecorino cheese and flat peaches go rather well together! :)

Ooh, I can imagine that they would! By flat peaches do you mean the ones they call "donut" peaches? I love pecorino.

    Yes, with a whitish flesh.

The best pecorino IMO is the one from Sardinia, made from the local sheep's milk. (Pecora is Italian for sheep).
    Pecorino sardo is DOP.

There is that cheese you can buy with apricot in it. Isn't peach a bit too sweet?

I would find having the washing machine in the bathroom more unhygienic than having it in the kitchen, occasionally I have viewed houses with a downstairs wc/utility and always though 'ewww'.

(Disclaimer, our washing machine is in the utility room)
    I think....

Keeping the dirty clothes out of the kitchen must be more hygienic.
Americans all have washing machines in closets in bathrooms, there is a logic in not needing to bring clothes up and down stairs.

Our clothes are never that dirty and go straight from the laundry bag into the washing machine. I have seen American homes with upstairs laundry rooms on the grounds that they never hang stuff out to dry so wash, dry and iron can happen upstairs - to be fair although I normally don't approve of dryers on environmental grounds, in the southern US the sum is often too strong for outdoor drying as it will damage clothes.

We have US cousins who had quite a nice house with the washing machine downstairs, but they did have a laundry chute.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

That's a Georgian thing too, has been since the Soviet times so I'd imagine it was the same in much of he USSR.
