Have I said the wrong thing? Or been dim about something obvious?

Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. (Link permitted by forum team)
Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

Oooh! No! Not at all! Sorry!

I was just thinking you have a Poirot-like mind, the way you pieced together the picture of Rach. :)

Oh dear! Now I'm worried I've said the wrong thing!

Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

No, you've done nothing wrong. It's inevitable that an online community will have more opportunities for misunderstandings than the same people probably would if they were talking IRL with all the non-verbal cues. Misunderstandings don't have to be a problem if nobody takes them personally and people just clarify what they meant as soon as a difference of perspective becomes apparent. Thank you for reassuring me. :)

And anyway, I like Poirot, and am flattered to be compared to him. :D

We are home, James was ok and responded much better to the GA than I ever did although I think they went a little more carefully when they found out my adverse reaction to GA historically.

He did have some issues with bleeding that led to us being there longer than anticipated but it appears to have settled now.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

That's good news Sue, must be a load off your mind. How are you feeling now?

Bedford is quite close to Inner Herts. So is part of London.
    France isn't.

    That depends on perspective....

France is closer to London than we are up here in outer, outer Herts.... In fact this morning I'm closer to Norway than to London.

    Also - Hello All, hope everyone's well.

Went to see the new film of Murder on the Orient Express last night.
Enjoyed it, but don't expect Poirot to be true to Agatha Christie's descriptions!
