All NP are interesting.
DKs are going through early teenage angst. DW is going through late teenage angst. At this stage I read SC and SS's posts with envy.
In truth I could have gone with a less interesting year. It's lucky I don't drink any more. I did take up smoking again for a month or two and could do with a pack this week .
I also am allergic to chocolate now
It's hard to have bad habits when you cannot drink or comfort eat. My lungs cannot take the smokingdo that's out.
I really hit the caffeine though0 -

Looks like you've dragged everybody out of retirement....
... where's fc123 I wonder?
Are you still interested in researching things? I was looking for something the other day and couldn't find it. It's not so important but it's annoying me.0 -
Pobby you've had a lot on your plate, hope all goes well for you.
I had an operation 6 weeks ago, knocked me for 6 and lost a stone
Life eh!0 -

Believe you me, there are loads of wicked things to eat that don't have chocolate.
I don't like chocolate, and while they do put it in or on loads of cakey, biscuity things, you can find stuff without any.
It annoys me when you find a dessert that is, say, fruity, or caramelly, and then they go and drizzle a pattern of chocolate all over the top! Grrr!
Eclairs are ok, because if the eclairs are cold, you can pull the chocolate strip off the top in one go. (That then goes in the food waste bin).
It's a bit of a faff, but you've gotta do what you've gotta do.(I just lurve spiders!)

Yes, it's how I spend way too much of my time
Love finding things... finding things out ... whether that's a simple "what is this?" that I bought at a car boot sale, or "missing people", or "what happened to the people next" when reading old newspapers.0 -

Yeah, I cannot eat any of that any more. Grump.
It's cool though. I might have a really nice bowl of soup later 😆0 -

Ditto but with balsamic vinegar. So many people, friends and restaurants alike, seem to think a dish is not finished without the obligatory drizzle display of balsamic which for me ruins most dishes.
Once went to a dinner party where they sprayed it over the starter mains and the strawberry dessert, grr. My other pet food hate is where they put way too much lemon grass/ginger in something like a Thai dish so the whole thing tastes like washing-up liquid - less is more folks! Lemon grass masks all other flavours for me in a very bad way.0
