Crikey! You most certainly are a dedicated follower of the NPT. Is this the first time you've posted on it? I'm not sure whether to feel honoured or scared :rotfl:

No, I've made a few appearances previously, at long intervals. Not to worry: I'm entirely harmless, and the nearest I've ever got to stalking was spotting my next-door neighbour when she signed up with a username comprising her own first name, surname and house number.

The crucial question is whether there's anywhere to turn round? :)

    Don't quote, will delete

    That's a shame.

It's the best house you've seen so far. If you're prepared to offer more than you have done, you can still do so now. The sellers may have accepted an offer, but nothing's set in stone at this stage, and offering more than the other buyers will make the sellers stop and think.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

PN. What a shame. At least it proves you clearly know the market and had spotted a bargain....don't suppose that is much consolation tho.....
    I think....

Plus, stranger things have happened, so don't despair. It was the first house you were serious about buying, so now you know there is one, there will be another, and it might be even better.

I know you want the pain to be over, but you'll have to stay in the next house for a long time, so please don't buy something on the rebound. :(

Joe will be having his wonderful riverside and cathedral view in halls for a third year running....he has had it confirmed he will once again be in the same room as he was for 1st and second year for his 3rd year.

Sounds so weird saying 3rd year, where did that time go?

This year, the AI module was his best ending up with 87% overall, closely followed by Games design but he struggled with the graphics module, the other modules were more middle of the road.

He also demonstrates that being a no smoking, no drinking, no socialising, make meals from scratch student makes a huge difference to the pocket. Despite hall fees being the highest out of the three of them, he has come home with a healthy bank balance (he has never utilised the overdraft offered to students) and is adding to that daily as he has returned to his seasonal job already to build up his money to see him through another year (as working whilst at uni is impossible due to the demands of his course).
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
