Are you talking of taking on another contract or of replacing an existing one ?
I currently have 3 contracts with Vodafone - 2 are used by my children -cheaper than PAYG but all are in my name only
Vodafone did ask for a £100 deposit - refundable after 6 months of paying bills on timeTANSTAAFL !0 -
The same with Orange: one account and 2 mobiles with different contracts. No deposit. Even had 3 mobiles before - and it was quite difficult to add the third phone to the account.0

I dont think that BT mobile allow this, as when i got the 6230 offer on bt mobile 150, i wanted to get another contract for my son, to take advantage of the offer, they didnt allow this, but i could add handsets to the contract and share the minutes. to get another 6230 on the contract was about £300 or something ludricous like that. I've had 3 Orange contracts on the same account before. The dealer wasn't willing to add the third, but Orange had no objection. I think it was laziness rather than policy.
There may be a difference in the commission arrangements that mean the dealer is more popular for capturing a new customer. Can you take out a new deal without disclosing this then get BT mobile to combine them later?0 -
i think ill take a miss on the BT phone that i was interested in (6230i), im going to hold out for the K750i which ill probably get on O20

My husband and I both have a bt mobile contract each which is linked to our home landline.
Both contracts were from e2save and we had no problems getting the seperate contracts.[0
