Hi guys you helped me with the defence after MCOL stage, just got back from working abroad and my mam has had letters from CEL and the county court.
I have not got long to get her amended defence in, has to be submitted by this Friday.
She has also had the county court moved to newcastle.
Am i right in thinking i should amend my defence?

You mean you are at Witness statement and evidence stage because you have a court date next month?
Read the NEWBIES thread post #2 about WS stage, and show your draft WS to us (this time you write it in the first person as a signed statement, you will see examples).
This is when you file your evidence and cases you wish to rely upon, as mentioned in defence earlier. So also number your evidence cases/photos and Henry Greenslade excerpt from the POPLA Annual report, etc. and list for us what you are going to rely upon so we can check if you miss anything.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Yeah were from newcastle and if i wasn't here my mam would have to travel and she wouldn't do that if she had to actually turn up.
The court date has not been set, the latest letter she has received is a N24 general form of Judegment or order. Ordering that the defence be filed within 21 days.
OK so ill check all the newbies post.
Ok so for example as evidence, would a signed letter from multiple managers from the offending carpark, highlighting that they have a issue with this be ok to use?0 -
Please show us both letters, as I'm not sure what is going on. She has already filed her defence in July and you don't 're-file' or amend the defence unless perhaps, CEL were ordered to re-file their case particulars because they were so sparse? Now the Court is giving you a second bit at the cherry? Maybe?my mam has had letters from CEL and the county court.
Show us all those letters. If you can't show links, change http to hxxp.
