I would be one of the culprits you want to put in the stocks, I see absolutely no point moving my car two feet, when 1 minute later I can move it 20

Im at point x and go straight to point z, no need to stop at point y, one movement instead of starting and stopping twice for the same effect in the same amount of time

He wouldn't like following me either. I will creep along at tickover hoping the car in front has moved by the time I get there :)

Same here. Good for the car, fuel consumption and congestion.

And having zero consideration for anybody behind you.
During that 1 minute, 10 cars have probly failed to make it on the motorway a mile behind you because you basically hogged all that empty space in front of you

Do you also walk through town like that ?

I've often seen people undertake in the middle lane then dive into the gap that's been left.

    I stand corrected ..
Section 268 of the highway code states, “Do not overtake on the left or move to a lane on your left to overtake."

But as it doesnt say "Must not" then it is not law.
I didnt know that, thanks :)

^^ So that's how they start .. Now if everyone could kindly stop leaving massive gaps then they would clear quicker ;)
