SSE retention.

My 18 month contract with SSE for landline and internet expires 13/7, I was paying £13.49 l/line and £8 internet, they have offered me £13.50 and £6 plus a £25 credit off my electric account.
i have had few problems with them and when I did have a serious connection problem recently they put it right immediately and without asking £40 compensation.
I can highly recommend them.

I have their £21 per month ultrafast internet (up to 76mbps) and phone deal but am in the process of moving. As I'm only 12 months into my 18 month contract they won't transfer this over to my new property but will happily revert me to their 17mbps and restart the contract period again for another 18 months.

They wouldn't budge so although I will have to pay a termination fee, I'm going to cut my nose off to spite my face and go elsewhere.
