In this day and age a lot of young people get away with far too much and live with their parents and don't pay dig money because that is what they think they are entitled to do.
I have to agree with this! (Notice the OP said "a lot" not "all" of young people.
I used to own student lets and youngsters weren't used to financial boundaries. Many tenants had to be frequently reminded of their obligations to pay their rents. They seemed to think it was unreasonable that we couldn't allow then to go a few weeks past the due date on an ongoing basis.0
