  • Are our roofs being sold from over us?
I too had a "Free PV installation" bt ISIS Solar / Mark group in 2012 , no issues until the last year when the output has decreased.
I was approached this week by another company informing me that the Inverter is not part of the service contract for my installation, and that the company who I bought the installation from had gone into receivership. "But dont worry we can replace the old inverter for a discounted price". I queried this as I had not purchased the installtion, only leased my roof for a peppercorn. they then asked who the Company was, suspicious as they told me that the Company had gone broke. The call got evasive and asked for the name of the company. At this point I said I would get back to them.
Started digging, Mark Group (the contracted installer and Maintainer) are in receivership
Deloitte are the receiver and the responsible officer is Nahmyer BegHam (Apologies for spelling) who is contactable on 01216955303. Deloitte switchboard is 01216955303.
I tried to track down ISIS-Solar but they are listed as Not Active on the Companies house register as previously mentioned. Not apparently in receivership
If you follow the Director, Lawrence James Armstrong Buckley, he is now a Director of 2 Interesting companies Share Solar PLC and Ecossol PV ltd.
These companies appear to be Crowdfunding the purchase of Domestic Roof rental FIT tarrifs.
Are our roofs being sold from over us?
I am going to try and find from the MCS who now "Owns" the FIT contract for my house and whether these can be bought and sold on the open market WITHOUT informing the owner of the home (The Landlord in my contract) or the Mortgage company who are a joint owner.
    Watch this space.

Old thread i know but did anyone get any answers on this? I have a system that needs looking at and could do with a contact.
  • I have exactly the same situation, ISIS 2 solar on my roof with no knowledge of who owns them, I have no idea if I am benefitting at all. I am thinking of switching them off to maybe trigger someone from the owning company to contact me re the lack of activity. Would that work.
Lawrence Buckley is a director of 27 companies and possibly is just a c** man!
If anyone out there can offer advice as to who I speak to to find out who now owns my panels I would be really grateful. I was sold this plan in 2011 after hearing the boss (L Buckley i guess) of Jeremy Vine show on Radio 2 all seem legit but after 1 call and an email report giving performance readings in 2012 NOTHING!
  • If anyone has been sucked in by ISIS Solar 0,1 or 2 over the past years and are now trying to find WHO OWNS the panels on your roof I have finally got some detail.

The "Organisational Generator of the installation" is Residential PV Trading Limited which are registered at Calder & CO 16 Charles II Street London SW1Y4NW and the the installation is registered with Good Energy Ltd. for the Feed in Tariff.

Unfortunately there are no contact details for this company and both Calder and Good Energy have been asked to make contact with Residential PV Trading to make contact with me.

I am completely disillusioned with the whole process and every organisation I contact hides behind The Data Protection Act.

As and when there are any updates (don't ho;ld your breath) I will let you know.
  • I to found that the FIT payment is being managed by Good Energy but they wont talk to me at all. Did you manage to get any further with your investigation?

  • I also have the panels fitted in 2011. In the contract, it states that they (Isis) will insure the system, including Public Liability Insurance (clause 5.2.1).

Is this insurance still in operation, or if not, is it a breach of terms? How would one go about checking?
  • Hi, I to have solar panels fitted by ISIS 2 in 2011 and was wondering if anyone has any luck in finding out who owns the solar panels or how we can revert ownership back to ourselves?

I have recently had phone calls confirming they were out of business but when I questioned them further they hung up!!

Is there any organisations what we can contact to get help (consumer rights)?
  • I am in same situation. I informed them using the registered office address that I am selling the house. No reply. Sale has fallen through as lender not approving mortgage. Apparently you now have to buy out your lease through their management company Calder and Co Chartered accountants telephone 02078396655. Cost upwards of £20,000!!! Time to call in the solicitors I think. Anyone else gone through this process and has gotten legal advice?
  • Update on this and it is complicated so keep with me. I have spoken with a guy called Ian Gilbert who is the operations manager for Solar O&M Limited. They are managing the systems installed by ISIS. The Lease for the systems have been transferred to a company called Domestic Solar Limited in April 2011 so they now own and operate the systems and get the feed in tariff. They are using a company called Billsave based in Leicester as a contractor to check and repair the systems. Apparently Billsave was formed when Mark Group that did the original installs was taken into liquidation.

Ian tells me that he will sort out a Deed of Variation if i ever want to sell the house so the lease complies with the latest Council of Mortgage lenders guidelines.

If anyone wants to contact Ian please send me a PM and i will forward you his contact details. To be far he has responded to me very quickly when i actually got some contact details.
  • Lee 1970 please could I have the contact no. for these guys. It's the only thing stopping my house being sold. Not sure how to do a pm. Regards Jason
