I really appreciate your imput. Thanks for your understanding. I was literally about to comment the same things.

For reference I'm not employed. I think im being pretty sensible about he situation, if I can obtain a credit card I intend to pay off in full every month or early if possible.

I say I've made a "fair" amount of applications for credit 10-15 I'd say. Of course not all at once and it was for a mobile phone contract mostly. And even then I hoped I could sell the phone on to have some money the

I think I've had a few particularly Unnecessary rejections because sometimes when I've tried to get a sim only contract through a store or over the phone they've done some sort of check that results in "not registered at this address" but when I apply online myself it has gone through.

When I started making applications way back when, it wasn't through blindness. I seem to of had a low chance from the start. I'm aware of how I should proceed red proceeed because I get one

This could be a bad thing to do - depending on what you mean. If you do manage to get a credit card you must wait for the statement before paying otherwise it looks like you haven't used the card and contributes nothing to the history you are trying to build up.

Check the 3 CRAs above and make sure all details, however sparse, are correct.
I am guessing your only income is benefits - some lenders will reject instantly on that basis alone.

Case in point. It sounds to me like you want credit/a phone to sell because you need money. You need a job, not debt you can't afford to pay back.

That's what I mean by if possible. I know some companies don't charge for early repayments.

You've missed the point. You won't get charged for early repayments.

But you won't build the credit history you need if you pay early. You don't want to pay early however possible it is.

The phone contracts were the first thing I tried way back when, because there was more chance of being accepted and it work so out cheaper than credit cards and loans.

The point of having credit is to have money because you need it for one reason or another so I don't understand what you mean.

If it's not Harming my credit history or my purse anymore I don't really care. Building my credit history is not a goal of mine. I simply need the money. It's short term so with any. Luck I won't need to rely on credit again so credit history won't matter. In fact if I can get the money I need I definitely won't need to rely on this method again. It's more important to get the money abs keep up with payments so I don't have debt. Some companies allow you to pay off your credit as soon as and I don't want to be stuck with them so I definitely consider the option.

I don't want a mortgage, don't want a phone in contract etc i wont explain my life plans but they don't include Having a credit history so it's useless to my in the long run. I hate the commitment. If I get a credit card it's get in, get out asap.

    I don't want a mortgage.

Schools seem to have broken up early .....

First, if you need money so badly that you're prepared to pay the extremely high rates charged by sub-prime cards, something's very wrong.

Second - you're 19 years old, and you're certain that you'll never want credit of any kind in the future ? No mortgage ?

At the risk of sounding harsh ... this thread is either a wind-up, or else you need some serious financial education. You say "If I get a credit card it's get in, get out asap". A fine idea, but I fear it'll be more a case of "Get in, can't afford to get out, spiralling debt".
