Irons leaving me steaming 😠

Can anyone recommend a decent steam iron please at a reasonable price. This is the one household appliance that I seem to have to keep re-buying far too frequently. Haven't got a big budget. Saw a thread bout this but it was 7 years old. Thanks in advance😊

Just two thoughts from me. I filter the water from our drier to use in the iron.

Also, having had an iron for many many years and replaced with with a Philips Asure model, I was surprised at how little room there is where your hand goes. The gap is filled with dials and knobs. I often accidentally turn the dial when I'm using the iron - it has a very light action. So my advice would be, go and see the model you plan to buy and see how it feels in the hand, rather than just buying over the internet.
