I want to fine unauthorised cars in my car park

The reference was to the banning of clamping/imobilising, where it would be technically illegal to impound a vehicle at will.nd of course the references in there suggest that a creditor who wishes to claim 'unpaid parking charges
I'm involved with a community group, and the building they use has a ( now ) gated and fenced off car park.
Anyone choosing to park their car in the car par, and leaves it in the evening after 9:30pm will get locked in until the gates are opened up again at 7pm ( by the latest) the next day during school term times, or they have waited for someone to turn up with a key
As far as i know as long as its made clear that the gates will be locked between certain times and opened again at such and such a time/date then there is no problemFrom the Plain Language Commission:

There is nothing you can do - if we want to park in your spot you better put a big bollard up otherwise the public know there is NOTHING you can do to stop us parking where we want! It's a free country after all!! Unless you charge £25 maximum per day fake fines llike that hospital that offers effective parking management that Barry Beavis linked to on Facebook (Bristol?)
Wow you've changed your tune since you ranted about the Scottish case.
This is an odd thread and I agree with IamEmanresu.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'm fairly new to posting on here, but I am shocked to find that people will post either useless or unhelpful information. Fortunately, I've had even more helpful feedback.0

I'm putting my faith with your ignore everything in Scotland advice and refuse to tell them who was driving with my 86 ongoing parking charges that Smart Parking will fail to get a penny from me on. :TCoupon-mad wrote: »Wow you've changed your tune since you ranted about the Scottish case.

Also outstanding, but none of them have dared to send me anything through solicitors yet so I'll continue to ignore like you advise everyone to do. :TIf you were not the driver write to the parking firm and tell them who was so they CANNOT hold you liable. The person who was driving the car is responsible so let them deal with it. Not you! Don’t let people with an agenda tell you otherwise.0 -
You and the OP come across as from parking firms. Your posts are very odd indeed.
No-one collects a stupid amount of PCNs from Smart, and they are not encouraged to do so by this forum, either.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Are these parking charges incurred in Scotland - if so, whereabouts?7 MinsterBaywatch (England)
If they're in England, you could get them killed via POPLA and save yourself potential debt collector aggro for up to 5/6 years.
Are you a serial private car park abuser? This forum never ever condones that. We prefer to help those who have (possibly) made a minor error, not those who not only ride roughshod over landowner requirements, but actually encourage them to engage private parking companies to harass everyone they can get their claws into via spurious signage and outrageous charges!
Take a look in the mirror, then think about how you might positively help others who come here, via sensible and supportive advice. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Why..?
This is covered by by the very first section of the FIG, which you confirmed you had read and understood - So it should be quite fresh in your mind.0 -

I'm inclined to disagree on this point on the basis that I live in a block of apartments and allocated spaces we are given are always being parked in by visitors or other residents, so if this thread is in fact genuine I can understand the OP's frustration.0 -
It's not the question asked, it's the fact they've named in full, some small fry parking firm we've never heard of, that is very odd. As is the fact they were joined by someone who posts 'oddly' out of the blue after a long posting gap.
When you post here every day you tend to spot the people who might not be genuine posters, or have another agenda.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
