wow... never seen that before... yes it looks like an error. If the DWP award you zero points for that it'll be interesting because they'll almost certainly do so because of that page.... when they go to explaining their choice they should surely recognise there is a mismatch even given their apparent blind faith in the reports. Be interested to see if the DM recognises this anomaly... a case for reconsideration on the point would obviously be incredibly powerful assuming you also agreed with the descriptor d choice and your evidence was consistent. Let us know in due course. I think in terms of advice hmmm.. I'd be torn between simply waiting for the decision or writing a quick letter for decision maker to consider any challenges you have of the report which may amount to little more than drawing their attention to this anomaly. My anxiety would probably push me to do the latter... but most sensible people would probably simply wait for decision. Doesn't say much for their quality control eh.
Apparently it has already been Flagged by the DWP caseworker and they have asked for advice.

lol... you mean they actually think they need advice when the HCP clearly explains their opinion? God help us.. if they are reluctant to overlook an apparent clear computing error for fear of not copy pasting the assessment report in its true form then we might as well employ some text processing software to take the decisions...lol

I think you have done the right thing by alerting the DWP to this obvious error.
As poppy says this should have scored 4 points not 0:

    3. Managing therapy or monitoring a health condition.
    d. Needs supervision, prompting or assistance to be able to manage therapy that takes more than 3.5 but no more than 7 hours a week. 4 points.

Which, if your calculation of 9 points is correct, would bring you up to the enhanced DL rate.

I suspect the DM just needs to confirm with the HCP that the wrong box was ticked.

I must admit they were aware of it themselves I've also noticed that on the pages where I have scored 0 because it does not apply to me the box underneath in the justification box is ticked which it is not on this one. Like you said those points would push me into the enhanced scoring. Do points usually stay around the same as recommended.

    Generally that's the case.

In rare occasions where the DM has marked down a HCP score resulting in a lower award, it is often reversed at tribunal and the HCP's award reinstated. (Particularly with other supporting medical evidence).

Thanks I'm hoping they do stay the same if I got the other 4 points that would be great but can't see that happening

Why not? You obviously scored those points but were never given them by the HCP. It's also possible that the DM will call you before making the decision. This happened to me with my review last year.

    I would agree.

This is such an obvious error that if the DM marked down another activity in order to deny you the enhanced rate, a tribunal panel would (I feel) take a very dim view of that decision.

Thanks Alice and Poppy really appreciate your advice like apparently a decision letter has now been sent but it is not on the system yet.
