Getting put on Birth Certificate...legal implications..

If you put a father's name on at birth, it can't be changed, but if the father is left blank, and it is proved later (i.e. DNA test) it can be added. (I know, personal experience that I'm not going to go into here)I Believe in saving money!!!:T

My partner's situation was more complicated than a simple case of disagreement and losing touch. They wanted him to change something about himself (beliefs) that he just couldn't agree to. As a result the relationship collapsed. Shouldn't say more really. But it was just one of those things that now both he and the mother blame themselves for.
He's just lucky to get his daughter back...and he knows it to. You should have seen his face when he picked up the phone and a little voice said "Hello Dad its me". We went shopping that evening and I didn't need to make a list or anything. He was like a wound up toy. Put him at the entrance to the supermarket and he'd got everything in 5 seconds flat...and you think I'm exaggerating!
Its sad when some father's don't care. Its not fair on the kids at the end of the day and it is them who are the important ones in all of this.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

I was quoting what it says on the CSA website which says 16-19 in education.
If they went to Uni then it would stop on the september after there 18th Birthday as that is classed as higher and not further education.
But if they are talking A-levels etc and still at college for there 19th Birthday then it will stop on the september after that 19th Birthday.
Hope that is clearer now.
