ok, check they are doing a SEPA zone transfer, check they are putting in the correct IBAN & BIC and selecting Italy for the country, apart from that, no idea.
I assume the amount is below the maximum limit of €4000 that LCL have?0 -

Argh closing a Fineco account is a pain - they have sent a 2 page form to print, complete, scan and return.0

Has anyone managed to close their account yet? I replied to their email with the completed scanned form and they didn't reply. I chased again a few days later but still no reply a few days later. I can still login to my account so they don't seem to have processed the request yet.

Yes it probably will come to that although I am always either working or looking after kids whenever these helpdesks are open so it's never convenient to call.

I have a multi-currency account with a debit card in Euros. I'm going on holiday later this week (to Spain) and so I transferred some £ into it yesterday and immediately exchanged it for Euros. Does that mean everything is set for me to use my debit card for purchases and/or to withdraw cash without attracting additional fees? Apologies for what seems like an obvious question but I don't want to be scrambling around for money whilst abroad if I have misunderstood anything. Thanks in advance.0

First of all you need to be sure the balance has cleared as annoyingly although is within the same account , when you make such a transfer is not immediately available in the new currency .
Secondly, apparently many ATM in Spain charges for non Spanish cards/same bank card (like in Greece) thus you may still get charged something. It may be worth investigating if there are any banks/atm in the town/s you are visiting that offer free withdrawals0 -

Lloyds bank will charge you a fee. When I tried to transfer £1000 from fineco to lloyds account they charged me £7. Not sure it is always the same fee it might depend on the amount transferred (I have previously transferred £2 as a test and I have not been charged!).
Someone who used my referral code has mentioned that Lloyds charged 2.00 fee when transferred 5.00 as a test.0
